WEEKEND HOUSE FIRE IN FAYETTEVILLE AREA

  

Sunday, April 3, 2016, just after midnight, the Fayette County Sheriffs Office received report of a structure fire on FM 954, near Roznov Rd, in the Fayetteville area.

It appeared that the fire was intentionally set, possibly to cover the act of a burglary. There were no reported injuries in the fire, even though the home owner was in and out of the residence during this time.

Fayetteville Fire Department responded to the fire along with Round Top Fire Department. The investigation is underway at this time by the Fayette County Sheriffs Office and the State Fire Marshalls Office.
