WEEKEND MARIJUANA ARRESTS

  

Brenham Police made several drug arrests this weekend.

Saturday, around 5 a.m., Cpl. Jared Campbell conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of S. Day and W. Bryan streets.

During the stop, K9 unit Ronny alerted on the vehicle and a probable cause search was performed.

During the search marijuana and methamphetamines, as well as drug paraphernalia were located.

Arrested were: 32-year old Mark Elliott Rigler and 26-year old Ariana Nicole Fredenburg of Carmine.  Each is charged with Possession of a controlled substance and Possession of marijuana under 2 oz.

Sunday morning, around 9 a.m., Cpl. Tommy Kurie conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Highway 290 East.

Kurie says he noticed marijuana residue on the driver’s shirt.

A search turned up more marijuana in the vehicle.

Arrested were: 21-year old Carlos Gabriel Arana, 20-year old Nicholas Isaiah Ramirez and 19-year old Amber May Rosales—all of Austin.

Each is charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz,
