WEST: REALIGNMENT WENT WELL FOR BRENHAM

The University Interscholastic League has released its bi-annual reclassification and realignment for the next two school years, beginning this fall.

For Brenham, their district alignment only received minor changes.  Moving back into Brenham’s district will be Huntsville and Willis, while Spring Woods and Stratford move up to 6A.

Remaining in Brenham’s district will be Magnolia, Magnolia West, Tomball, Tomball Memorial and Waller.

Brenham Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Glen West says the realignment worked out well…

Coach West says this now sets up the Cubs’ football schedule for the next two years…

West says this realignment has also led to a much tougher region for the Cubs…

As for Burton, the football team will be in District 13/2A along with: Snook, Somerville, Bartlett, Granger and Milano.

In Basketball and other sports, Burton will be in 26/2A with Snook, Somerville, Iola, Normangee and North Zulch.
