WOLFSKILL FORMALLY WITHDRAWS FROM DIST-13 RACE

  

It is official, Jill Wolfskill has withdrawn from the runoff election for the District-13 State Representative post.

The Texas Secretary of State has notified the district that Wolfskill has formally withdrawn from the Special Election Run-off with Ben Leman.

Leman, who won the runoff for the Republican nomination for November’s General Election with Democrat Cecil Webster, is considered elected for the remainder of the current term for House District 13.

Wolfskill and Leman had been slated to meet one more time to fill the post for the rest of the year, vacated by the abrupt resignation of Leighton Schubert earlier this year.

Leman and Wolfskill had met in three separate elections since the start of the year.
