WOMAN ARRESTED FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION

  

A Fayette Co. woman faces a marijuana possession charge after her arrest Monday afternoon.

Officer Hunter Andras conducted a traffic stop around 2:30 Monday afternoon at W. Fifth St.

Andras says the driver, 21-year old Liana Isabel Lecklitner of Ledbetter, appeared nervous and he could smell marijuana in the vehicle.

Lecklitner admitted to having drug paraphernalia, and during a search, Andras located marijuana.

Lecklitner is charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz.

  1. They would generate a lot of money if they legalized it and tax it. People are going to use it wether it is legal ir illegal, might as well make money off of it. Instead of drug dealers making all that money and not paying taxes.

  2. House bill 507 does not generate enough revenue for the county and that is all this county is concerned about!

    1. HB-507 died on the vine, and has the current authority of a grocery receipt. What exactly would she have used it for?
