WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES
A Brenham woman faces drug charges after her arrest Tuesday afternoon.
Brenham Police Officer Jonathan Phipps pulled over a pickup on a routine traffic stop on West Main.
According to Phipps, the driver, 43-year old Vera Susanne Butler, appeared nervous and said she had recently moved back to Texas.
Phipps received consent to search the vehicle and Butler’s purse. Inside her purse officers found a glasses case containing two glass pipes and two baggies containing methamphetamines.
Butler is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
