WOMAN LAUGHS WHILE BEING BUSTED FOR POT
A Brenham woman apparently thought being caught with marijuana was a laughing matter during her arrest Sunday night.
Brenham police officer Jonathan Phipps stopped a pickup truck that drove in front of him at 10:18pm.
The pickup truck had no valid registration sticker and the license plate did not match the sticker. That led to a search that found a small amount of marijuana. When the officer asked the driver, 51-year old Yolanda De Leon about it she reportedly laughed. A subsequent search found some prescription pills as well.
De Leon was arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession and possession of dangerous drugs.
