WOMEN’S DEFENSE PROGRAM BEING OFFERED THIS WEEKEND
The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a “Damsel in Defense” forum this Saturday (8/5) at the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum.
John Wick, President of the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce, says the area is seeing an increase in situations where young ladies and women need to defend themselves.
Wick says this forum will provide the personal protection techniques that are necessary.
Rachel Hanson, with Damsel in Defense will providing key information, officials hope will keep members of the community safe.
The forum, which begins at 10:00 a.m. is free and open to the public. Anyone interested is asked to pre-register by calling 713-899-5100.
