Progress continues towards the renovations and expansion of the Nancy Carol Roberts Library in Brenham.

The Library has been located in the lobby of the Brenham City Municipal Building at 200 West Vulcan for many weeks.

Roberts says the reason the city moved everything out of the library so far in advance of the start of the actual work is due to the questionable status of the air conditioner…

Roberts says the gutting of the current building and construction on the “bigger and better” library should begin sometime in the fall.
