YEGUAS HIRE NEW FOOTBALL COACH
Two days after coach Rex Sharp stepped down, Jesse House has taken over as head coach of the Somerville Yegua football program.
Sharp resigned after the Yeguas lost its season opener to Iola 48-7.
House comes to Somerville after serving as the head baseball coach at Skidmore Tynan. Prior to that he was the defensive coordinator at Pettus in 2012 and 2013.
The Yeguas will look to snap a 30 game losing streak Friday night in Buffalo.
