18 WHEELER HAULING CHICKENS RUNS OFF I-10

  

The driver of an 18 wheeler escaped without any serious injuries when he ran off the road on Interstate 10 near Flatonia in Fayette County, early this (Monday) morning.

Reports from the Fayette County Sheriff’s office say that Ernest Garza Jr., of Rosenberg  was hauling  of fresh chickens at 3:45am when he ran off the road.  Sheriff’s deputies, saw that the truck had run off the roadway into a ravine.   Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Fayette County EMS and the Flatonia Police Department all responded to the scene.

 Garza was transported to a Luling hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
