TWO SHERIFF’S OFFICE SERGEANTS RECEIVE F.B.I. AWARD
Two Sergeants with the Washington County Sheriffs office have received an award from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Sergeant Mark Morales and Sergeant Fay Janes-Busse recently received the F.B.I. LEEDA Trilogy Award. In order to receive this award, Morales and Janes-Busse were required to successfully complete the training curriculum created by the Law Enforcement Executive Development Association. The training focuses on three specific levels of leadership: Supervisor, Command, and Executive. The courses provide instruction and insight on creating and attaining goals, working as a functioning unit and in a healthy environment, disciplinary actions and accountability, and developing policies that are beneficial to one’s organization. Sergeants Morales and Janes-Busse started the training in September of 2020 and completed it on December 11.
