I-35 WRECK CLOSES NORTHBOUND LANES IN SAN MARCOS

  

Drivers northbound near San Marcos on I-35 should exit at Texas 80 and take the next on-ramp use Texas 21 as an alternate route this morning. All northbound lanes of Interstate 35 in San Marcos are closed while emergency crews clean up an 18-wheeler crash. The roads should be open later today.

The 18-wheeler struck the center wall of I-35 just before 2:30am this morning and knocked over a light pole, which caused damage to a car in one of the southbound lanes.

The 18-wheeler’s driver received just minor injuries and was taken to Seton Medical Center-Hays. No other cars were involved in the crash.
