WASHINGTON COUNTY BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB CELEBRATES BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB WEEK
The Boys and Girls Club of Washington County has spent this week celebrating Boys and Girls Club Week along with other Boys and Girls Clubs all over the nation.
In addition to the kids’ regular activities, this week, they have gotten visits from the Marine Corps, different colleges, the Brenham Fire Department. They have also been saving pennies for the animal shelter and participating in a spelling bee competition and basketball tournament.
Tonight the club will host a parent versus kid’s basketball tournament and tomorrow, Melissa McCune, Executive Director of Boys and Girls Club of Washington County says that they’ll be opening their doors to the public.
