SNOOK ISD INSTRUCTOR FIRED AFTER VIDEO SHOWS HIM PUSHING STUDENT
The Snook ISD instructor caught on camera repeatedly pushing a child in a classroom has officially been fired from his position.
In a statement Saturday afternoon, Snook Superintendent Brenda Krchnak, said the behavior specialist is no longer employed with the school district.
The video of the incident was posted online by a mother of a student on Thursday. It showed the man picking up a child and then pushing him into a bean bag. When the child resists, he grabs the child by the arm and brings him to his feet. Eventually, the man flips the child around and pushes him into the bean bag.
Superintendent Krchnak says she is ordering a review of Snook ISD faculty and staff use of discipline and restraint.
Snook ISD is now working with the Texas Education Agency and law enforcement in investigating the incident.
