2018 WASHINGTON CO. FAIR QUEEN CANDIDATES ANNOUNCED

  

 

The 2018 Washington County Fair Queen Candidates were announced last (Monday) night at the Special Events Center at the Fairgrounds.

Hanna Lillie Delta Warmke is representing Washington County 4-H.  Warmke is a senior at Brenham High School, and is the daughter of Cabin and Missie Warmke.  At school, she is a member of the student council, Anchor Club and National Honor Society.  She also plays for the varsity Cubette softball team, and is Carson the Mascot with varsity cheer.  She is a member of the livestock judging team, the current president of Gay Hill 4-H, and does volunteer work through Maifest and Faith Mission.

 

 

Taylor Elizabeth Klatte represents Brenham FFA.  Taylor is the daughter of Catherine and Herbert Klatte Jr., and is a senior at Brenham High School.  At school, she is involved with the National Honor Society, Anchor Club, and TAMU Livestock Ambassador.  She serves as Vice President of Brenham FFA and President of Washington County 4-H Council.  She is also an ambassador for Heritage Belles, and shows steers in county and other major shows.

 

 

Samantha Elise Wiesepape is representing Brenham High School Belles and Dance Team.  Samantha is a senior at Brenham High School, and is the daughter of Mark and Kristin Wiesepape.  While in school, she participates in the Brenham Belles Dance/Drill Team, and serves in the CARS Student Mentoring Program at the elementary campuses.  She is a member of the Heritage Belles and Maifest, has shown steers and heifers at major shows, and volunteers at the Luther Hill summer church camp.

 

 

MaryCaroline Grace Bearden represents Washington County 4-H.  MaryCaroline is the daughter of Burt and Jill Bearden, and is a senior at Brenham High School.  She involves herself at school with the Anchor Club, the DECA, and the National Honor Society, as well as cross country and track.  She has shown rabbits, serves as President of the Heritage Belles, and is part of Brenham’s First Baptist Church Youth Group.

The Washington County Fair kicks off on Friday, September 14th, with the Barbecue Cook-Off.  The Queen Crowning will be Wednesday, September 19th at 7 p.m.  Season tickets for the Fair are available from each of the candidates for $30 each.
