BLINN CHILD DEVELOPMENT INTRODUCES ONLINE DEGREE

Blinn College is making it easier to pursue a career in the early child care profession.

Beginning this Spring, students can earn an associate degree, certificate, or award through Blinn’s Child Development Program without setting foot on campus.  The new online program features innovative technology and interactive instruction equivalent to the traditional, face-to-face courses.

Program Coordinator Amy Jones says the faculty has, “dedicated countless hours to bringing these courses online for the convenience of the students.”

The online program offers students the opportunity to earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in child development and a Child Care Worker certificate, as well as two Occupational Skills Achievement awards in Early Childhood and Child Care Administration.

Students who successfully complete the program are eligible for a variety of child care careers.
