ORAL HISTORY WORKSHOP FEBRUARY 23RD AT BRENHAM HERITAGE MUSEUM BUS DEPOT
The Brenham Heritage Museum will host an oral history workshop next month.
The workshop will be held Sunday, February 23rd at 1:30 p.m. at the Heritage Museum’s Bus Depot Building at 313 East Alamo Street.
Attendees will learn techniques for getting the most out of interviews, proper interview technique, where to locate potential interview subjects, and what forms are required so that oral history recordings can be shared. There will also be an update on the progress of the Brenham Heritage Museum’s renovation.
The museum is looking to enlist volunteers in gathering stories of Washington County, in order to preserve the voices of the past.
The workshop is free of charge, but space at the Bus Depot is limited. RSVPs are required.
