ASTROS ON THE VERGE OF ELIMINATION AFTER LOSS TO RAYS

The Houston Astros are one loss away from seeing their season come to an end, after a 5-2 loss to Tampa Bay in game three of the AL Championship Series.

The Rays now have a 3-0 lead, and are one win away from advancing to the World Series for just the second time in franchise history.

The Astros jumped out to a quick lead on Jose Altuve's first-inning home run.  The lead held up until the sixth inning, when the Rays erupted for five runs off starter Jose Urquidi and reliever Enoli Peredes.

Michael Brantley homered to cut the lead to 5-2, but that was as close as the Astros would get.

Game four, a must-win for Houston, is Wednesday night at 7:40.  The game can be heard in-progress, following the Jimbo Fisher Show on AM-1280 KWHI and FM 101.7.
