In the second half the Cubs kept mainly on the ground as they chewed up minutes off the clock.
One of the few times Stackhouse threw the ball in the half, it was a 58-yard touchdown hook-up with Richardson.
Back up quarterback Keanu Jones capped the scoring with a 22-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Cubs head coach Eliot Allen said he was pleased with the way the team overcame a slow start, “Even though we didn’t execute early on like we wanted to, we made some good stops defensively and took advantage of it.”
The Cubs’ ground game pounded out 247 yards, led by Lopez’ 137 yards on 17 carries. “He’s a great kid works really hard,” said Allen. “He’s just getting better each week we come out.”
Richardson was Stackhouse’s top target on the night, hauling in four passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
