ONE PERSON ARRESTED SUNDAY AFTER DISTURBANCE CALL

  

One person was arrested early Sunday morning after police were called to a disturbance on Wilkins Street.

Brenham Police report that Sunday at 1:20 AM, officers responded to the 800 block of West Wilkins Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that the victim was assaulted by the suspect who was still on location. The suspect, Jacori Lewis, 22 of Brenham, was placed in custody for Assault Family Violence and for Interfering with an Emergency Request for Assistance.  Lewis was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
