BRENHAM FFA MEMBERS HONORED AT ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY
The accomplishments of numerous Brenham FFA members were recognized Tuesday night at the annual FFA Awards Ceremony.
The celebration at Cowboy Church of Brenham gave outgoing members an opportunity to reflect on their time with the Brenham FFA. Members were also presented with several scholarships and awards.
The Star Greenhand Award was presented to Madeline Pierce.
The Star Chapter Farmer Award was given to Madison Moran.
The Top Hand Award went to Emily Searle.
Hayden Mika received the Greenhand Top Hand Award.
The Star Agribusiness Award was given to Quinn Bosse.
Keely Mikolajchak was named the Star Lone Star FFA Member.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Scott Eckermann.
Christian and Ashton Burns were named the Outstanding Members of the Year.
The recipient of the Robert Little Memorial Scholarship was Emily Searle.
The first-ever Curtis Fuchs Leadership Scholarship was given to Keely Mikolajchak on behalf of the George and Ann Butler Foundation, Allen and Cheryll Grainger and Allison and Michael Nepveux.
Keely Mikolajchak and Emily Searle received the Brenham FFA Chapter Officer Scholarship. They, along with Hayden Hupe, also received the Brenham FFA Alumni Scholarship.
American Degree recipients were Bethany Janner and Katie Perkins.
Honorary Membership Awards were given to Brenham ISD Superintendent Dr. Tylor Chaplin, Assistant Superintendents Brandi Hendrix and Clay Gillentine, High School Principal Jennifer Griffin, Lead Counselor Juliee Heferkamp and Instructional Coach Amanda Dismukes.
The Brenham FFA 2022-23 Officer team was also announced. Officers include:
