BLINN WINS FIVE NATIONAL MARKETING AWARDS

  
Volleyball/Soccer Guide

The Blinn College District’s Marketing and Communications Department has won five national marketing awards in recognition of their publications over the past year.

The Collegiate Advertising Awards and Educational Advertising Awards each recognized Blinn with their Gold Award for the Volleyball and Soccer Recruiting Guide.  The publication included complete team schedules, rosters, and bios, and highlighted the Blinn Athletic Department’s facilities and academic support for student athletes. The guide was developed by Assistant Director of Marketing and Creative Services Darla Arter and Communications Specialist Arthur Hahn.

Registration Guide

Both competitions also selected Blinn for Silver Awards for its Spring 2022 Registration Guide. The guide was inserted into each newspaper in Blinn’s service area and outlined each step in the admissions and registration process, showing students how to begin their college careers. The guide was developed by Director of Communications Richard Bray.

The Educational Advertising Awards also recognized Blinn with a Bronze Award for its 2021-2022 viewbook. The viewbook provides incoming students an overview of the campuses and programs at the college. The viewbook was developed by the Marketing Department with help from Vice Chancellor of Student Services Dr. Becky McBride, and Director of Prospective Student Relations Elaine Abshire.

The Collegiate Advertising Awards program is a national competition honor excellence in higher education marketing and advertising.

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the nation.
