SOUTH TEXAS AG CONFERENCE COMING TO BRENHAM

  

The AgriLife Extension Offices of Grimes, Lee, Waller, and Washington Counties are excited to host the first in a series of Ag Conferences.

The South Central Texas Ag Conference will be held Thursday, August 25, at the Washington County Expo in Brenham. Registration will be held at 8:30am.  A catered lunch will be provided.

The Conference will feature timely topics for landowners, continuing education credits for pesticide applicators, and the opportunity to network with landowners and producers in the South Central Texas area.

The day will include presentations from experts in the field of livestock production, agricultural law, soils and nutrient management, feral hog control, and native grassland management.

A feral hog trap demonstration will also be part of the program.

Registration is $45 per person before August 22, or $65 per person on the day of the event.

Five continuing education credits will be offered for all pesticide applicators who attend for the entirety of the program.
