YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID CLASS OCT. 24 IN BRENHAM
A Youth Mental Health First Aid class will be offered next month in Brenham.
The free community class will be held on Monday, October 24th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.
The class teaches how to recognize signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth, and how to support them and connect them to helpful resources.
Youth group leaders, parents and people who work with adolescents are encouraged to take the class.
