BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH DEADLY CONDUCT AFTER VEHICLE SHOT
A Brenham man is charged with deadly conduct in connection to a Washington County Sheriff’s Office investigation extending back to November.
Sheriff Otto Hanak reports that on Veterans Day, November 11th, dispatchers received a report of a “shots fired” call in the 9700 block of Lone Star Road in Washington. Deputies responded and located a vehicle that had been shot.
After further investigation by Criminal Investigation Division Sergeant Mitch Dreyer, the sheriff’s office identified 18-year-old Dustin Roy Boenker as a suspect.
On Monday, Boenker was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail on a warrant charging him with Deadly Conduct – Discharge of a Firearm, a third degree felony.
Boenker’s bond was set at $5,000. He later posted bond and was released from custody.
Sgt. Dreyer was assisted in the investigation by Texas Game Warden Kyle Yoder.
I’m confused. Where in this story does it mention animal pouching?
