Authorities recovered an assault weapon, along with accessories and ammunition for another firearm.

The driver faces charges of Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle, Evading in a Motor Vehicle, Evading on Foot, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon and Tampering with Evidence.

The passenger, 19-year-old Jaylon Walter of College Station, was charged with Tampering with Evidence.

Assisting Navasota police in the pursuit were DPS, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Brenham Police Department and Blinn College Police Department.
