GRACE LUTHERAN STUDENTS EARN TOP 10 FINISHES AT PSIA STATE MEET

Students from Grace Lutheran School had an extremely good showing at the State PSIA Meet in Fort Worth.
This past Saturday, over 1,600 students from around Texas came together to compete in a host of academic skills. The event was held on the TCU campus in Fort Worth.
Seven Grace Lutheran students finished in the Top 10 of their events.
TOP 10 FINISHERS
Elias Ogrodowicz placed fourth overall in Music Memory for the 5th and 6th Grade
Charles Henderson placed 6th in Maps, Graphs, and Charts for the 6th Grade, and also finished in 9th place for 6th Grade Spelling
Everett Ogrodowicz placed 6th for Music Memory for the 3rd and 4th Grade
Elise Ogrodowicz finished in 7th place for Music Memory for 5th and 6th Grade
Augustine Colanter placed 8th in Ready Writing for the 5th Grade
Jackson Havers finished 8th in Ready Writing for the 6th Grade
Wyatt Tompkins who placed 8th for Listening Skills for the 4th and 5th Grade.
The Private School Interscholastic Association (PSIA) was founded in 1997, and held their first state competition in 1998 at Baylor University. It was born out of multiple requests from parents of private and home-schooled students. After moving briefly to SMU, the PSIA state competition has called TCU home since 2001.
