TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

Two people were arrested in separate incidences Thursday on Marijuana charges.

Brenham Police report that Thursday morning at 8:20, Sergeant Terrence Johnson initiated a traffic stop in the 1400 block of East Alamo Street for an equipment violation. Marijuana was located during a search of the vehicle. The driver, Carter Alexander Kitzman, 31 of Round Top, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Thursday afternoon at 3:00, Corporal Tommy Kurie initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2200 block of Highway 290 East for speeding. Marijuana was located inside the vehicle during a search. The driver, Daniel Khripunov, 22 of Spring, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz and transported to the Washington County Jail.
