NEW ULTA BEAUTY STORE LEADS AUGUST BUILDING PERMITS
Construction of a beauty and cosmetic store inside the Brenham Crossing shopping center led the month of August for building permits issued by the City of Brenham.
The city issued a $658,703 permit to K&J Interiors, Inc. for the tenant buildout of an Ulta Beauty at 974 Highway 290 East.
The national chain’s new location in Brenham comes as a new Burlington Coat Factory is also under construction at the shopping center.
Other items of note on the August building permit report include a $428,880 permit for Brenham National Bank, which is performing a second-floor interior remodel at its branch at 2211 South Day Street, with contractor work handled by Collier Construction.
There was also a $205,000 permit granted to Park PPAP, LLC to build an electric vehicle charging station at the Holiday Inn at 2685 Schulte Boulevard. Work is contracted to Dannic Solutions.
Eight new homes were permitted in August for $1,225,340. So far this year, 82 homes have been permitted for $10,954,776.
