CHAPPELL HILL SCARECROW FESTIVAL TO KICK OFF FESTIVITIES THIS WEEKEND

  

Downtown Chappell Hill will once again host the 39th Annual Scarecrow Festival this Saturday from 9am until 6pm, and Sunday from 10am until 5pm.

The event is sponsored by the Chappell Hill Historical Society.

Those in the mood to shop will have 250 vendors to choose from, along with country style food, live music and tours of the historic community.

Some of the music for the weekend include Cloggers Unlimited, Abigail Taylor, Wawel Houston, and the Providence Iron Works Band and well as Trey Yenger Music.

Children’s activities will be available, including pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, and a barrel train.

There is no admission fee; however, there is a $5 parking fee, with lots located at FM 1155, north of Highway 290 and FM 155 intersection.
