4TH ANNUAL ‘DONUTS & BLESSINGS’ TO HELP WITH 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL

  

Wednesday is the first day of school for Brenham Independent School District and the Washington County Ministerial Association will be greeting children and parents with the 4th Annual Donuts and Blessings.

Participating churches include: Goodwill Baptist, the Cowboy Church, Salem Lutheran, the Vineyard, Calvary Baptist, First Baptist Brenham, Mt. Rose, Mt. Seriah, Faith Mission, St. Mary’s Catholic, and several other churches and parachurches will be at all eight BISD campus providing donut holes and prayers to begin the school year.

Reverend Randy Wells says, “Donuts and Blessings”, is a two sided coin, welcoming the children with a blessing to them on their first day of school, and they serve as a blessing as future leaders.

BISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson thanked the Association for, “Continued prayers and support!”

The Association will also being doing Donuts and Blessings for the Burton ISD for their first day of school, next Wednesday.

  2. Bring donuts to the kids when you are trying to make them eat healthy ???
    Isn’t this hypocrisy??

    1. Can’t you just be thankful and appreciative that caring community members are giving of their time? One donut is not a sin. Good grief! People can’t be happy or appreciative about anything anymore!!
