60 POUNDS OF MARIJUANA FOUND BY NARCOTICS K9

  

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that Tuesday the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Canine Unit stopped a Chevy truck on interstate 10 at the 661 mile-marker at approximately 10:00am for a traffic violation. After contact with the driver was made, several criminal indicators were observed and consent to search the vehicle was obtained. Located in the rear doors of the vehicle was approximately 60 pounds of marijuana. Rogelio Serna age 40 of McAllen was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana.
