8TH ANNUAL PLANTERSVILLE CRAWFISH FESTIVAL AND COOK-OFF SATURDAY
The city of Plantersville is set to host its 8th Annual Crawfish Festival and Cook-off Saturday.
Visitors are invited to come out to Plantersville Town Hall on FM 1774 South, for a day of live music, games, and all-you-can-eat crawfish. Gates open at 11 a.m.
Some of the events on tap include a crawfish eating contest, horseshoe and washer competitions, and music from the Koka Kola Cowboyz. Cook-off categories include boiled crawfish, crawfish dishes, gumbo, and creative drink.
Wristbands are required to enter the grounds, which are $35. There will be tables and chairs set up throughout the grounds, but guests can also bring their own lawn chairs.
