The Round Top Schützen Verein will host its 9th Annual OktoBierFest tomorrow (Saturday).
There will be a full menu of Oktoberfest food, with traditional German Brass Band Musik leading up to the tapping of the ceremonial keg, marking the opening of the festival. The keg will be tapped by the current reigning Schuetzenkoenig (Shooting King), JB Cravens, who will serve his guests until the barrel runs dry.
Many different brands of German Bier will be served, some from the keg and some as bottled brews.
Entertainment lasts until 8 p.m. Tables will be set up to accommodate social distancing, and attendees are encouraged to wear masks.
