The revolving door in this countys judicial system is broken. Over and over people bond out and commit another crime , over and over rBrenham citizens have to be burglarized.
Its shameful.
What do you suggest happen?
I suggest our local DA and law enforcement quit pleas bargaining these cases down to the point that people who commit these types of crime are allowed back out on the street. Having been a victim of a car burglary, it caused a huge amount of trouble and expense that never should have happened. When people refuse to get a job and work hard to support themselves and decide it is ok to take from those of us who do, we need to send a STRONG message. LOCK THEM UP!
When it’s a felony they get a felony sentence, that’s what’s lacking.
Maybe increase the bond a bit, so they don’t get out so easily?
