Today’s drop off at the park, on 901 North Park Street, will accept toys, gift cards, and monetary donations to help families fighting childhood cancer.  The drive-thru drop off begins at 11:30 a.m., and ends at 5:30 p.m.

Adam’s Angels Vice President Debbie Fathauer says all of the donations received will be put towards a party next Wednesday, at the Children’s Cancer Hospital at MD Anderson in Houston.

Adam’s Angels co-founder Donna Culliver says donations will be accepted for infants up to teenagers, but the organization could use more gifts for teens.

Adam’s Angels asks that all donations be new and unwrapped, and to not bring opened, played with, or gently used toys. Stuffed animals, beanie babies, toys of a religious nature or from gifts boxes, or play guns will not be accepted.  NERF guns are allowed.

Along with the drop-off today at Fireman’s Park, there are also drop-off locations at the Brenham Collision Center on 810 West Main Street, and at Brazos Valley Recycling on 8825 Stewarts Meadow in College Station.

Shoppers can also use AmazonSmile online to donate gifts, which will be delivered straight to Adam’s Angels. When buying eligible products at https://smile.amazon.com, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate a percentage of the purchase price to the charity of your choice.
