AGGIES #4 IN FINAL A.P. FOOTBALL POLL; LONGHORNS 19TH

 

The Aggies finished fourth in the final AP Top-25 Football Poll, released following the conclusion of Monday night’s national championship game.

National Champion Alabama is ranked No. 1, after their 52-24 win over runner-up Ohio State, Monday night.

Clemson comes in at No. 3 with Texas A&M (9-1) rounding out the Top 4. It marks the Aggies’ highest final ranking since finishing #1 in 1939.

Texas is the only other Lone Star program in the Top-25.  The Longhorns (7-3) finished 19th.
