AGRILIFE EXTENSION SERVICE HOLDING FOOD MANAGER TRAINING COURSE
Washington County’s AgriLife Extension Service is offering a professional food manager training course.
The program, called “Food Safety: It’s Our Business”, is designed to prepare foodservice managers to pass certification examinations, as well as offer education regarding safe handling of food.
The program will be at the VIP Building at the Washington County Fairgrounds on Monday, August 20th and Tuesday, August 21st. Tickets will be $125, which includes training, materials, and a national food manager certification examination. Certifications are valid anywhere in Texas for five years.
