A&M EXTENSION TO HOLD SEED COTTON MEETING

  

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension is hosting a Seed Cotton Education Meeting, next week.

The Extension Service of Washington, Austin, Colorado, Fayette, Lavaca and Lee, Counties will host the meeting, beginning at 9:00 a.m., next Wednesday at the Colorado County Facilities Building, next to the Colorado County EMS in Columbus.

Registration will begin at 8:30am with the program to follow.

Texas A&M professor, Dr. Joe Outlaw, will lead the program and provide information for producers related to the new seed cotton decision tool.  Farm Service Agency staff will also be present to discuss related programs and answer questions.

Following the Seed Cotton Educational Meeting, the FSA staff will hold a WHIP Informational Meeting, scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.  Registration will begin at 10:30.
