“ANNIE,” “MARGIE” NAMED PETS OF THE WEEK

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Annie” and “Margie” as its Pets of the Week.
Annie is a Pocket Pitbull, about three to four years old and 35 pounds. Brenham Animal Services staff say Annie has a sweet disposition and a love for people, and also seems to be friendly with other dogs. She is very eager to play, and loves a good lap to sit on.

Margie is a domestic shorthair cat, about one year old. Staff say Margie is very independent, and would do well as both an indoor and outdoor cat.
While the Brenham Pet Adoption Center is still closed to visitors, anyone interested in adopting or fostering a pet can see the shelter’s available pets online at www.petfinder.com. Appointments to meet a pet can be made by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page. Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
