For many area students, this weekend is their last one before school starts back up.

Students across the region will be heading back to school as soon as next week, with classes in Brenham, Burton, Giddings, Anderson-Shiro, Lexington, and Magnolia ISDs all starting up on Wednesday.

Classes for College Station, La Grange, Sealy, and Montgomery ISDs resume a day later on Thursday.

Students in Fayetteville and Hearne ISDs get an extra weekend before school starts, resuming on August 19th.  Round Top-Carmine and Bryan ISDs get started on the 20th, while students in Iola ISD and Sam Houston State University go back on the 21st.  Caldwell ISD resumes classes on the 22nd.

Meanwhile, classes for Bellville, Snook, Navasota, Waller, and Hempstead ISDs start back up on the 26th, as do Blinn College, Texas A&M University, and Prairie View A&M University.

Students in Somerville ISD have the most time before they go back to school, as they have until the 28th before classes resume.
