AUSTIN COUNTY ANNOUNCES 2018 FAIR ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP

  

The Austin County Fair has announced its 2018 entertainment lineup.

At the fair’s Launch Party and Shrimp Boil on July 27th, the fair announced the performers for this year’s fair, beginning Saturday, October 6th.

Mason Marek will kick off the opening weekend with a performance at 4 p.m. on Saturday, with the Anthony Moreno band starting at 6 p.m.  Jon Stork will follow up at 8 p.m., and the David Lewis Band will round out the evening at 10 p.m.

Charles and the Fabulous Four will play Wednesday, October 10th at 7 p.m., as the sole performance of the night.

Action resumes Thursday, October 11th with shows from Cody Wayne at 6 p.m., Moe Bandy at 8 p.m., and Rodney Atkins at 10 p.m.  Friday, October 12th will feature Jake Worthington at 8 p.m., with Tracy Byrd following at 10 p.m.

The final night of performances on Saturday, October 13th will include Shotgun Rider at 7 p.m., Shane Smith and the Saints at 9 p.m., and Aaron Watson at 11 p.m.

Tickets are on sale, with season passes at $35 and single day passes at $15 for adults.  Children 6-11 years old and seniors 65 and up pay $6 for a day pass.

Tickets can be purchased through the fair office or from fair queen candidates.  They can also be bought online at www.austincountyfair.com.
