AUSTIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO HEAR ABOUT PRESERVING HISTORY
Austin County Judge Carolyn Bilski says the County Commissioners are a ‘bit out of character’ when they hold their last meeting of the year on Friday.
She says the full agenda, with numerous interlocal agreements dealing with street maintenance and appointments, is to wrap up the entire year.
Judge Bilski, who is entering her final year as the Austin County Judge, says the Commissioners are concerned with preserving an important chapter of Texas history in Austin County.
The Austin County Commissioners will get a presentation on the Friends of San Felipe State Historic Site.
The Austin County Commissioners meet at 8:30 Friday morning at the courthouse in Bellville.
