AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED IN FAYETTE CO. TRAFFIC STOP

An Austin man is in custody in Fayette County after he was arrested in an overnight traffic stop.
Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a vehicle on an illegal lane change on State Highway 71, around 8:30 p.m.
Deputies located THC wax and marijuana in the vehicle. 38-year old Barry Gene Hansen Jr. of Austin was taken into custody.
He is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Child Protective Services was notified about children that were in Hansen’s vehicle when he was arrested.
