The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Banjo” as its Pet of the week.

Banjo is a pit-bull mix, about three or four years old.  Staff with Brenham Animal Services say Banjo is gentle on the leash and full of fun when released to play with toys.  They say his youthful enthusiasm would make a great fit for older children, but he is still very well-mannered for his size.

If you would like to adopt Banjo, visit the Brenham Pet Adoption Center at 1804 Longwood Drive.

Brenham Animal Services will also hold adoption events Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center and Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails.  Volunteers will be at Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails, wrapping gifts in exchange for donations.  Adoption fees will also be waived at both locations.

The shelter is also taking donations via its Amazon wish list online.  Anyone looking to donate can click here.
