BARNHILL CENTER ANNOUNCES SHOWS FOR 1ST HALF OF 2020

Eight live performances will headline the first half of 2020 at the Barnhill Center, with tickets for the first performance going on sale in just a few days.

The Songs of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin will be performed on Saturday, January 11th by Vince King and the Gene Keen Showband.  This will be King’s second appearance at the Barnhill Center, after his recent portrayal of Elvis to a sellout crowd.

Barnhill Center booking agent and producer Sharon Brass says King’s vocals and onstage persona “truly takes you back to the Rat Pack era”.

Tickets for the Vince King show go on sale Monday at 10 a.m.

Red Steagall and The Boys in the Bunkhouse will star in a Cowboy Celebration, to be held Saturday, February 1st.  VIP pre-show activities include a chuckwagon dinner by Jimmy Detro’s Cowboy Cookers, and a historical shootout by the Brenham Bandits.  Tickets for the Cowboy Celebration go on sale Monday, December 30th at 10 a.m.

The Texas Tenors will take the stage on Sunday, February 23rd as part of their 10th Anniversary Tour.  The trio is the most successful music group and third-highest selling act in the history of NBC’s primetime series “America’s Got Talent”.  A VIP pre-show party will let a limited number of fans meet and take photos with them.

Bob Wills’ Texas Playboys starring Jason Roberts will honor the King of Texas Swing on Saturday, May 16th.

Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute will perform Saturday, June 13th after the annual Summer Sip wine-tasting event in downtown Brenham.

City of Brenham Tourism and Marketing Director Jennifer Eckermann says 2020’s upcoming events will continue 2019’s momentum with “more live music, legendary stars, magic, comedy and family fun”. She says shows are being planned for the rest of next year, including a new singer/songwriter series to be announced in mid-2020.

Gift certificates are available for the 2020 Entertainment Season, and can be purchased in person at the Brenham/Washington County Visitor Center at 115 West Main Street in Brenham.
