BISD RECEIVES TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE GRANT

  

The Brenham School District has been awarded a grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to help Texas children reconnect with nature.

Texas Parks and Wildlife has announced that the Brenham School District will receive $20,183 to help expand their outdoor environmental education program activities.  More than 3000 students in Kindergarten through 8^th grade will experience birding, orienteering, environmental education and nature photography in the program.  BISD is one of only 22 organizations across the state receiving grants to help kids reconnect with nature.
