BJHS STUDENTS PRACTICE BANKING SKILLS
Brenham Junior High students have the chance to practice their banking skills at the Bank of Brenham today and tomorrow. The curriculum was developed by CTE counselor Kelley Lowes with the help of Dr. Heather Thielemann of GameChangers and Mackenzie Huff of Bank of Brenham.
Students will practice cashing a check at the bank, tour the location, and have the opportunity to see banking practices that were introduced in Donovan Coskey’s math class.
Students will be treated to lunch at Must Be Heaven before heading back to campus by 5th period.
