BLINN BASEBALL TEAM TO HOST SPRING TRAINING CAMP FOR KIDS

Major League baseball players are preparing to attend spring training camp soon.  Thanks to the City of Brenham and Blinn College Baseball, kids in the area will have that same opportunity.

The City of Brenham and the Blinn Buccaneer baseball team will host a three-week Spring Training Camp for kids age 5 through 12.  Beginning Monday, January 28th, Blinn baseball players will teach kids the fundamentals of hitting, throwing and fielding.  The camp will be held each Monday from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m. on Leroy Dreyer field on the Blinn campus.  The cost is $35 and includes a tee shirt.  For more information and to register your child for Spring Training Camp, visit the website www.cityofbrenham.org/parks, or call 979-337-7250.
